2020 has consisted of uncertainties, challenges and obstacles and everyone has been affected one way or another. At the beginning of 2020 many of us brainstormed resolutions such as going to the gym five times a week however with gyms closed for the majority of the year due to the global pandemic meant that many plans and goals were aborted.
As the year 2021 is approaching we do not know what the year has in store for us since things are currently still uncertain. However, the new year is the perfect time to start afresh and set realistic goals and plans despite the wavering situation at hand.
Despite the setbacks and complications of 2020, the only kind of resolutions that should be made for 2021 are doable ones to prevent stress and pressure. This year has taught us that not every goal and target set can be achieved instantly. Things change, there are bumps along the way therefore being patient and understanding that setbacks can happen is integral.
Even if you only manage to accomplish half of your New year’s resolution for the following year do not be harsh on yourself, just keep going.
