As Turkey’s, pigs in blankets and Yorkshire puddings flood the shelves, Christmas 2020 will undoubtedly be far from normal.

The big Christmas parties that take place yearly within households will certainly not be happening this year.

The Coronavirus rule for Christmas states that up to three households can meet indoors between the 23rd– 27th of December.

Boris Johnson announced, “I can’t say that Christmas will be normal this year – but in a period of adversity, time spent with loved ones is even more precious for people of all faiths and none.

However, the UK’s chief scientific advisor Patrick Vallance said that we should not rule out a digital Christmas.

Who would have thought that the UK would have to consider having a digital Christmas?

Nevertheless, Christmas amid the pandemic can still be jolly. Larger gatherings will be postponed for this year but be sure to cherish this festive season with family and friends.
