2Funky Arts are hosting an event called ‘And still I rise’. The event is designed to provide an opportunity for artists and creatives to showcase a 10-15 minutes performance in response to the Black Lives Matter movement or the impact of Covid-19 on BAME communities. 
The re-emergence of the Black Lives Matter movement after the death of George Floyd has sparked conversations about systemic racism and the injustices towards Black people. In response to this 2Funky Arts ‘And still I rise’ event aims to give BAME creatives a chance to explore and respond to these issues.These creative pieces will be showcased as part of Black history month 2020, at 2Funky Music cafe, live-streamed to a wide audience which will take place on October 31st 2020 from 6-9pm, doors will open at 5:30pm.
